Position Overview We are looking for a senior monitoring engineer to join our team and help us deliver world-class monitoring solutions for our customers. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring systems, dashboards, alerts, and reports using Sciencelogic products and technologies. You will also troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, provide technical guidance, and best practices, and collaborate with other engineers, customers, and partners. What you will do at Insight · Design, implement, and maintain monitoring systems, dashboards, alerts, and reports using Sciencelogic products and technologies · Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to monitoring, performance, availability, and security of IT (Information Technology) systems and services · Provide technical guidance and best practices to customers and partners on how to use Sciencelogic products and technologies effectively · Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality · Research and evaluate innovative technologies and trends in the IT operations management domain · Contribute to the continuous improvement of Sciencelogic products and processes What you will need to join Insight · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience · 5+ years of experience in IT operations management, monitoring, or related field · Strong knowledge of IT systems and services, such as servers, networks, storage, databases, cloud, virtualization, containers, etc. · Proficient in Sciencelogic products and technologies, such as SL1, PowerFlow, Dynamic Applications, Dynamic Dashboards, etc. · Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, Perl, etc. · Experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc. · Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills · Ability to learn modern technologies and skills quickly · ScienceLogic certifications preferred · Familiar with ITIL and Agile principles · Amenable to work in a night shift schedule and in Pasig for a hybris set-up
