Job Title: IT Helpdesk (Helpdesk Technician) Client Industry: IT Services Provider Location: Quezon City, Philippines (Onsite) Shift and Schedul e: Monday to Friday, 8-12 hours per day Position Overview RecruitGo is in search of an IT Helpdesk who will be working with our client based in the UK. Our client is a managed IT services provider and in this role you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems and infrastructure. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving. Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone upbeat, analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses impeccable communication skills in both written and verbal using the English language . Responsibilities: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support: Respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely and professional manner. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently Windows 365: Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 365 environments, including setup, configuration, and maintenance tasks Windows Server Administration: Assist in the administration and maintenance of Windows Server environments, including user management, group policies, and server monitoring Desktop Support: Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software components. Perform upgrades and repairs as needed to ensure optimal performance Call Taking: Handle incoming calls from clients seeking technical assistance. Document issues accurately and escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients, empathizing with their concerns, and ensuring timely resolution of issues. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation of support activities, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions. Generate regular reports on helpdesk performance metrics and trends Proactive Maintenance: Conduct routine system checks, updates, and maintenance tasks to prevent potential issues and optimize system performance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar IT support role required Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems , including Windows 365 and Windows Server Excellent knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting techniques Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Exceptional customer service skills and a patient, customer-centric approach Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Why RecruitGo?
