Position Overview In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting company operations.You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the company’s PCs, printers, servers, network and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, inventory tracking and management, vendor coordination and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations. WHAT WILL YOU DO? IT Support Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction. Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk. Monitor requests from end-users and process first-in first-out based on priority. Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation. Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software. Document internal procedures. Assist with onboarding of new users. Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment. Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software. Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses. Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software. Assign users and computers to proper groups and implement security and restrictions. Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required. Ensure that the company maintains strict compliance with PCI DSS. Reports Generation Ensures an accurate and on time delivery of offered solutions to assigned clients based on their needs. Provide accurate and timely reports to client(s), employees, and IT Team. Ensures accurate reporting of activities, opportunities, and/or challenges to the IT Manager. Report issues to Systems and Network Admin for escalation. Other Tasks Perform other official work as instructed by the immediate supervisor/manager. Recommend and proactively implement opportunities for increased departmental efficiency Extend work hours when needed. WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE? Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, or any IT related field (preferred). Open to fresh graduates Strong verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and experience troubleshooting hardware and software. The ability to break down technological processes and deliver clear, step-by-step instructions Patient, friendly demeanor with a great aptitude for listening.
