We have partnered with a multi-disciplined engineering organization in the Akron, OH area to provide them with an HVAC Engineer 2. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested. Prioritized Must Have Skills for the HVAC Engineer 2: #1. 5 years minimum HVAC experience with minimum 2 years industrial HVAC experience #2. Must have Plumbing Design and Fire Protection Design #3. No more than 3 jobs in the past 10 years Summary of the HVAC Engineer 2: The HVAC Engineer II is an individual looking to take on the challenges of performing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for industrial facilities for projects large and small. These duties include design drawings, interfacing with other engineering disciplines, and performing field design work. Requirements of the HVAC Engineer 2: Heating, ventilating, and air conditioning design for industrial and chemical plants and related office facilitiesHeating and cooling load calculations. Reviewing and applying recent applicable codes and standards (i.e., Mechanical, Fire, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.) Engineering of dust and fume collection systemsPlumbing system layout and sizingFire protection design specificationOversees the production of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection drawingsInterfaces with other engineering disciplines and clientsPerforms field work by obtaining information, making field sketches, and verifying drawings Requirements of the HVAC Engineer 2: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree, PE desirable5 years minimum HVAC experience with minimum 2 years industrial HVAC experienceKnowledge of mechanical and fire codes and NFPA and ASHRAE standards AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, or Revit experience a plus Other Key Requirements: Hybrid-office / remote schedule (In office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)Posses a valid driver's licenseNo sponsorships or visa holders.
