Responsibilities: Establishing understanding of source and target database structures & schemas Develop & maintain data base strategy to ensure data is migrated accurately, securely Business scenario mapping and handling for the cutover Ensure all user data is migrated from old system to new system based on different business cut over scenarios. Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successful. Develop and execute the migration strategy, plan, and schedule, and for managing the quality and risks. Work closely with development teams of source and target systems to establish understanding of existing data base structures. Qualifications: Knowledge of different database system 7/8 – 10 Year work experience Has hands on and in past has driven migration projects (As team member, team lead- regardless of database – Oracle, My SQL). Has worked in past relational databases, driven migration between two different applications and two different relational database structures. Understands the challenges on migration and was involved in creating migration templates in past, drafted migration strategy and managed a team. E Experience in migrating On premise to AWS cloud infra shall be plus.
