As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative , you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences for our clients who communicate in both English and Mandarin. Your primary responsibility will be to address inquiries, concerns, and feedback from customers, with the goal of retaining their business. Here are the key duties and responsibilities: Language Proficiency : You must be fluent in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse customer base. Customer Interaction : Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and recommendations promptly and professionally. Confirm customers’ language preferences during interactions. Routing and Escalation : Redirect customers to the relevant department when necessary. In cases of uncertainty, defer to management. Product Knowledge : Memorize prices and features of our offerings to provide accurate information to customers. Exchanges and Refunds : Process exchanges and refunds in accordance with company policies. Upselling : Provide details about supplementary products or services that may suit customers’ needs. Monitoring and Feedback : Monitor call and mail histories to ensure all customers receive assistance. Look for commonalities in customer feedback to inform improvements. Customer Surveys : Administer and receive customer surveys periodically. Professionalism : Maintain a courteous, patient, and professional demeanor at all times. Qualifications: Education : High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience : Proven experience as a customer service representative, customer support representative, or similar role. Language Skills : Exceptional verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin. Experience using both languages in a professional capacity is preferred. Technical Skills : Computer literacy. Ability to craft professional emails. Soft Skills : Active listening and attention to detail. Confidence and composure when assisting customers. Professional appearance and demeanor.
