Your Mission: As our Staff PEE Engineer, PECVD, based in Binan, Laguna and reporting to the Engineering Section Manager , your role will be pivotal in supporting manufacturing’s day-to-day issues on equipment & process as well as major and minor Technology Development projects throughout the development phases into production ramp and full production release for SPML. Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change: Subject Matter Expert in Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) Establish and implement Equipment and Process controls to ensure equipment & process performance are meeting Line yield, product reliability and OEE requirements. Initiate, develop strategies, and implement ways to continuously improve the process and or equipment performance. Systematically investigate and solve equipment and or process issues. Engage with R&D and Operations Teams on new technology deployment, tool install, start-up, and qualification activities (equipment, process and material). Participate in the evaluation, selection, and procurement of new equipment. Oversee installation, modification, and maintenance of equipment. Ensure equipment and process are meeting environmental, health and safety requirements, and manufacturing Quality standards. Perform process characterization and optimization. Own indirect material (IDM) and tool spares cost improvement projects. Own or co-own Equipment Procurement Review (EPR), Process characterization Review, Process and tool Specifications Train technicians and/or engineers on process and equipment Participate on all business process reviews like EPR, PCR, SPC, and SG. Perform other duties as may be assigned by his/her manager. Subject Matter Expert in Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) Graduate of Engineering degree preferably major on Material Science or Plasma Physics Proficiency in film property development, optimization and uniformity Proficient in Vacuum systems, Heating and cooling systems, Instrumentation: Temperature PID, MFC functionality, Pressure Control Valves, Pressure Gauges Proficient in Plasma Enhancement: RF systems, Impedance matching and tunning, RPS dry etching. Engineering materials and mechanical design capability, Structural Mechanics and Strength Analysis via CAD Metrology (4 point probe, lifetime, ellipsometer) and FA Tools (Zeta, SEM-EDX, MSPL) Knowledge in data analysis/statistical analysis and DOE using JMP. Initiates and implements ways on how to improve the machine performance through equipment or process modifications and upgrades. It would be Nice if You Have: Knowledge in semiconductor device physics (recombination, current density) Software: PLC programming, HMI programming, AOI systems Knowledge in thin films (CVD, LPCVD and Furnaces) Knowledge in Mechatronics: sensor functionality, servo teaching, electropneumatic, robocylinders, magnetic rails, pick and place application. Knowledge in preventive maintenance for PECVD tool Failure analysis both for product (wafer) and tool components OEE, IDM, Yield and RNM improvements Knowledge in Solar cell technology or frontend semiconductor/electronics processes. Problem Solving methodology and Process controls: 8D, KT Analysis, CNT, PCP, FMEA Start-up and tool install. Technology transfer from Pilot line to mass production ramp. Knowledge and experience in Business Process reviews (Engineering Change, Process Characterization and Equipment Design and Procurement). Knowledge in wet and dry gas abatement system and showerhead gas distribution system With good presentation skills. With strong negotiation skills. English proficiency both written and verbal.
