DIRECTLY REPORTS TO: Lead Product Manager MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: The primary responsibility of the Product Manager for Consumer Products in this role is to build and launch Sprout’s Consumer Products (starting with Fintech Products) through integrations with Partners. The role also requires the individual to manage the planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including gathering and prioritizing requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support to ensure goals are met. The Senior Product Manager is expected to be a hands-on builder and will be instrumental in the further development and expansion of the Sprout Ecosystem through the Consumer product vertical. TASKS: Work with the Consumer BU Director of Growth in identifying potential partners for Sprout Consumer Products. This activity may involve running high level UX journey mapping, performing secondary research, inspection of the Partner’s Integration capability (eg. API, flat file, workflow, etc.) and creation of business case/s that will support proposed initiatives within the assigned portfolio. Build integrations with partner products and maintain relationships with the said partners even after initial post-launch in collaboration with Product Operations Manager. Manage assigned Consumer products through the product development life-cycle using Agile Scrum methodology. Collaborate with key stakeholders in creating feature specifications out of business requirements, prioritize features, author user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborate with scrum team members to ensure product features are delivered according to specifications. Maximize the value delivered by the assigned Scrum Team in the Engineering Team. Build and maintain an effective and groomed backlog providing clear requirements for new initiatives and enhancements. Work closely with the Product Design & UX team to bring engaging user experiences to life. Take a very hands-on approach to operational monitoring and product launch activities together with other cross functional departments. Analyze the impact, usage, and adoption of features and improvements to confirm they had the right effect on the business, and if not, make corrective actions to ensure it meets the required success criteria. Research and understand competitive offerings, regulations and other industry constraints, operational impacts and needs. Potentially coach and supervise less experienced Product Managers who will be working with you on highly related assignments. QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES: At least 4-5 years of work experience, with at least 2-3 years of product management experience. Experience in a startup environment or with SaaS products would be a bonus Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related field is preferred Fintech experience is preferred Experienced in building B2B or B2C Software products in Web and Mobile Platforms. Experience in developing APIs and/or building products reliant on third-party APIs is required. Prior experience working with e-commerce platforms is a huge bonus. Familiarity with SaaS metrics related to product and growth Experience in building and maintaining partnerships Expert in product management methodologies and tools such as agile, scrum and JIRA Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Adept at communicating with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams. Able to engage stakeholders and manage their expectations. Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and to prioritize tasks effectively. A good analytical and critical thinking mindset with good attention to details and a problem-solving approach. Capable of performing qualitative and quantitative analysis. Outcome driven mindset is a must. Individuals with an entrepreneurial bent of mind would be a great fit. Is open to hybrid working set-up.
