Dover Business Services (DBS) is looking for talented Finance Hub Manager, with a focus in Master Data Management to join our new shared service center in Cebu, Philippines. The role is responsible for managing the Master Data Management team to ensure accurate and timely processing of master data changes. Working within an emerging shared services organization, the Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver timely and high-quality specialized support to internal stakeholders (e.g., Corporate Controllership and Dover Operating companies (“OpCo’s”)) and OpCo’s vendor/customers, as measured by service level agreements and key performance indicators. In addition, the Manager will be accountable for overseeing Master Data Management on a global scale, actively collaborating with other DBS sites to ensure unified and coherent MDM practices. As a Manager within the Finance Hub, the role may also be administratively supporting the following specialized teams under the Finance Hub, together with the Sr Manager and the hub leadership team, depending on the needs and your experience, skillset, and capabilities: Tax Center of Excellence (e.g., Indirect Tax – NAM, Income Tax – US) Financial Planning and Analytics Financial Systems (Cadency/Longview/OneStream) Internal Controls Center of Excellence Master Data Management (Customer/Vendor) Travel & Expense Compliance This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of businesses across the manufacturing industry, and gain cross-functional experience in an entrepreneurial, team oriented-environment. Essential Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy Provide strategic direction for the management of customer and vendor master data. Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks and practices to ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency. Establish clear guidelines for data integrity, ownership, standards, and maintenance protocols. Define ownership roles and responsibilities for data stewardship and establish escalation paths for data governance issues. Drive the modernization of information management practices within the organization by staying abreast of evolving concepts, emerging tools/automation/analytics and best practices. Lead Master Data Management on a global scale, working collaboratively with DBS sites in Suzhou, Bucharest, and Bangalore to drive cohesive and consistent MDM practices, projects, and data standards, ensuring high data quality and operational efficiency. Identify and manage new business/support opportunities. Process Management Oversee end-to-end processes for managing customer and vendor master data, ensuring compliance with defined procedures. Approve / Reject updates or changes to master data as required by the review process. Collaborate with Global Process Owners (GPOs) and cross-functional teams to establish and document data standards for each data domain. Monitor adherence to data standards, conduct regular audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and first-time right culture. Develop and implement data quality controls and KPIs, including regular data quality assessments, cleansing processes, and data validation checks. Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management Cultivate effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, including Finance, Technology, and Operations teams. Communicate MDM-related updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and addressing concerns. Manage changes related to MDM processes, system implementations, and enhancements by coordinating with relevant stakeholders. Conduct training sessions for internal and external stakeholders to promote understanding of new data processes, standards, and tools. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and governance requirements related to master data management. Participate, assist, and coordinate for internal and external audit activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., SOX). Oversee the timely remediation of audit findings and process gaps, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. Proactively identify and address potential compliance and risk issues, collaborating with stakeholders to implement preventive measures. Team Management Lead and motivate the MDM team members to ensure high-quality deliverables. Develop and implement the organizational design of the MDM team, including defining roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures, to support the MDM strategy. Facilitate team meetings to discuss issues, share performance metrics, action plans, and strategies, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment. Approve schedule adjustments, overtime, and personal time-off requests, ensuring adequate coverage and workload distribution. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team, providing resources and support for ongoing skill enhancement and career progression. Performance Management Set and review MDM key performance measures with business stakeholders, including data accuracy, completeness, and consistency targets. Accountable for the attainment of performance metrics (timeliness, accuracy, cost per unit). Monitor team performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure service delivery meets expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, streamline processes, and optimize resource utilization. Resource Management Review resource requirements regularly and optimize resource allocation to support business priorities and project needs. Conduct quarterly access reviews to prevent unauthorized access to ERP systems and other critical applications. Ensure documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and data governance policies, is up-to-date and centrally stored for easy access and reference. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting Technology, Financial Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or related fields; MBA is a plus Minimum ten (10) years’ related experience; Shared Service Organization experience preferred. Strong aptitude for applications and systems; experience in ERPs, PowerBI and/or ServiceNow/ ticketing tools is an advantage. ERPS currently utilized: Oracle, Syteline, Oracle Fusion, Oracle Netsuite, Oracle JD Edwards, MS Dynamics, Epicor, SAP, Glovia, Netsuite Lean Six Sigma training a plus. This position will implement any operational changes and delivering measurable improvements in Master Data Management Proficient use of MS Office (expert in Excel) and knowledge of MS Power Platform and VBA is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to lead a team and/or establish new service offerings. Strong analytical and problem- solving skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining strict attention to detail; Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. Proven ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate and quality results; Demonstrable ability to coordinate or lead multiple projects and activities with relevant priorities. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Self-directed, positive, and ethical role model able to work with minimal supervision.
