Real Estate Accountant Job Description: Our growing company is looking to fill the role of a real estate accountant. As a real estate accountant, you’ll provide subject matter expertise on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to support proper treatment for business transactions and consolidation. Here are the key responsibilities: Prepare trial balances and work paper products. Process standard and complex bookkeeping entries. Analyze financial data. Monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables. Interact with management and clients. Monitor compliance with various agreements, including Service Level Agreements. Act as a liaison with internal and external parties (auditors, legal counsel). Process wire transfer payments on behalf of clients. Qualifications: Education: A relevant degree such as a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or related field. Certification: CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
