Equipment will be provided - MacBook. The ideal candidate should have a fully functioning workstation and a quiet place to work with a high-speed internet connection at home. The candidate should be willing to meet with the team quarterly to have team buildings in Manila. Salary: 80,000 -90,000/month Benefits HMO healthcare for you and one dependent (with COVID insurance) 20 combined SL/VLs per year accrued from day one (you will have 10 accrued once you pass regularization). Government Mandated Benefits 13th Month Bonus Shift Time 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, Manila Time, Monday to Friday About the Role As a Frontend Developer, you will be working closely with a Project Manager, potentially a Backend Developer and Designer, with the support of your Team Lead to deliver eCommerce websites on the Shopify platform that provide amazing customer experiences. You will be responsible for scoping, documentation, implementation, and deployment of tasks according to agreed-upon timelines and following team processes. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with team members to solve problems, develop solutions, provide the best client experiences, uphold standards and quality, and continuously improve. Follow Best Practices – Apply the best practices of web design and development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. Communicate effectively with your team and your Team Lead via available communication channels. Occasionally join client meetings to answer technical questions or provide technical context. The Project Manager will lead the discussions. Log work accurately and with concise descriptions. Uphold the company’s values when interacting with staff/customers/other individuals when representing the company inside and outside of the workplace. Position Prerequisites Experience working with VueJS or ReactJS , or comfortable using any JS framework/library Have a passion for clean code – Take pride in creating reusable, easy-to-read, scalable code CSS Preprocessors – SASS, LESS or similar Experience with build tools – Webpack, Gulp, Grunt or similar Experience using Git - Branching, merging/PRs Can work independently within a team Have a good understanding of Web Accessibility and SEO Have an eye for detail and design - translate designs into code While we respect experience, above all, we value the right attitude and passion for learning/improving.
