Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs.Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.Use statistical methods and data analysis tools to extract meaningful insights.Create clear and concise reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and goals.Analyze business problems and provide data-driven solutions.Investigate and troubleshoot data-related issues as they arise.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.Design the data pipeline in a way that allows easy injection of new data points and modification of existing onesTidy up PowerBI datasets used for existing PowerBI reports to improve speed and maintenance.AWS to Snowflake -Create schema for ingestionCreate potentially store procedures to pull data simply by providing identifier (TICKER) Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science). Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, or R.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.Track record of creating dashboards (extracting data, transforming and presenting)Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy in data.Quant experience / maths backgroundFinancial services experience, ideally in Equities
