Content Manager

Description:

What is Rayobyte/ Sprious? Hi! We’re Rayobyte / Sprious, a 50-person US-based tech company founded 8 years ago. We're a fast-growing SaaS that specializes in products for the data extraction industry. What do we want to accomplish in the near future? We already have a pretty strong inbound content marketing machine that uses a mix of blogs, landing pages, and video to set ourselves apart. But that’s not enough for us. We want to be known as the company with the absolute greatest content in our industry. We want to set ourselves apart from the boring, jargon-heavy work of the competition to produce informational material that’s playful, interesting, and approachable . How can you help us? We don’t want you to just create for us, although you’ll certainly have the opportunity to do so. We want you to own our brand . We want you to manage and organize our team. We want you to tell us what sucks about our site and then make it not suck. We want you to be a naysayer and hatchetman in the battle against mediocrity. We want you to take a highly technical product and show people who’ve never even heard the word “proxy” understand why they want to buy one. So if you’re a strong technical writer who sanded all the edges off your personality years ago, thanks but no thanks. But if you’re a passionate, funny individual who knows how to get the best out of a team both visually and in writing, then show us what you got and we might just be able to do business together. There is no better person to explain the role than our CEO, please click and listen 🤗 - Click the video *If the video link is not there, please check the career page on our website - http://sprious. com What will be under your control? We are in the middle of redesigning our website and re-writing much of the content on it - you will take over not only this immediate redesign but will build a system for ensuring that these pages stay fresh and accurate for years to come. You will write brand guidelines, and then be personally responsible for making sure that ALL content, from emails to landing pages to ad copy, is compliant with these guidelines. You will help manage the Rayobyte Stories ( rayobyte. com/category/rayobyte-stories/), where we spotlight customers and employees who are “bringing great ideas to life” - regardless of whether they’re doing so with our products or not. You will help us set up Rayobyte University, a brand-new initiative that will allow individuals of all skill levels to learn, grow, and get certified in the usage of proxy and scraping tools. You will overhaul our blog content strategy to make sure all our content is reader-driven, SEO-compliant, and fun to read. What can you bring to the table?
