About the Role The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing and overseeing all phases of contract execution, ensuring compliance with legal requirements by liaising with the legal team, and managing renewals and relationships with customers and third-party suppliers. This is an administrative role that requires the ability to learn agile methodologies and workflows. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Contract Execution: Coordinate and manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation through to execution and closure. Review, draft and negotiate contracts to legal and ensure they meet company standards and requirements. Ensure all contractual obligations are clearly defined and documented. Maintain accurate records of all contract documents, amendments and correspondence. 2. Legal Compliance: Liaise with the legal team to ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations and company policies. Monitor changes in legislation that may affect contracts and advise the legal team on necessary updates. Conduct regular audits in collaboration with the legal team to ensure ongoing compliance with contractual and legal obligations. Collaborate with the legal team to address any legal issues related to contracts. 3. Contract Renewals: Manage and track contract renewal dates, ensuring timely renewals. Initiate renewal discussions with customers and third-party suppliers. Evaluate and negotiate renewal terms to benefit the company. Ensure all renewals are processed and documented efficiently. 4. Supplier and Customer Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries from customers and suppliers. Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders to facilitate smooth contract execution and renewal. Resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the contract term. Work closely with procurement and sales teams to align contract terms with business objectives. 5. Contract Management System: Utilize and maintain the company's contract management system to ensure all contracts are easily accessible and up to date. Implement improvements to the contract management process to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Provide training and support to team members on the use of the contract management system. 6. Agile and Workflow Management: Learn and apply agile methodologies to manage contracts efficiently. Develop and maintain workflow processes to streamline contract management activities. Adapt to changing requirements and prioritize tasks effectively in an agile environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or in a similar role. Strong understanding of contract management and compliance processes. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and apply agile methodologies and workflows. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience in a BPO or similar industry. Knowledge of international contract laws and regulations (working with the legal team).
