Estimator Estimating, take off and drafting. Looking for someone who is good in reading plans and making plans and doing take offs. He should be knowledgeable in AutoCAD, blue beam, plan swift, Microsoft excel, and Revit . Job Description As an Estimator, you’ll play a crucial role in assessing project costs, analyzing plans, and ensuring accurate estimates. Your responsibilities will include: Analyzing Project Requirements: Reviewing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project. Determining the factors of production that will influence the cost of services or products. Cost Estimation: Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service. Creating labor estimates for any project. Vendor and Contractor Management: Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors. Managing bids from vendors and contractors. Data Analysis and Reporting: Using bid data to prepare detailed cost analyses. Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders. Compiling and recording actual costs. Qualifications: Strong numeracy and financial management abilities to effectively estimate costs and set budgets. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to assess technical documents and proposals. Proficiency in software related to estimating, such as Microsoft Excel or industry-specific software. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and Revit. Familiarity with BIM360 (a must-have). Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
