ABOUT THE JOB: Open to Philippine residents ONLY! One of our US-based clients is looking to hire a Home Health Scheduler to manage, maintain, and update schedules of US-based medical/healthcare providers going around to each patient's home. RESPONSIBILITIES: Job duties may be modified based on experience and fit within the company. Responsible for correctly coding Healthcare claims to obtain reimbursement from insurance companies.Responsible for reviewing medical records to assign procedure and diagnosis codes to daily charges correctlyKnowledgeable of coding guidelinesKnowledgeable in coding Local and National Coverage Determination GuidelinesRemains current on new codes and updates to coders' practicesIdentifies and clarifies missing, conflicting, or nonspecific clinician documentation related to diagnosis and procedures.Participates with medical staff to resolve coding issues and associated problems.Assist the Billing Department as needed. MUST HAVES: A certified medical coder with CPC from AAPC is REQUIRED .
