In this role, you will: Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities: Budget and Target Management * Allocate budgets and targets for the General Trade team. * Develop and execute General Trade Strategy and Plans to achieve set budgets/targets. Efficiently manage the allocated Trade Fund to generate a profitable sales mix. * Utilize sales systems for efficient allocation, review, and approval of trade promotional budgets. * Monitor cost center expenses, continuously identify opportunities, and address risks by developing contingency plans. Volume Optimization * Deliver channel volume targets aligned with country objectives. * Monitor progress against objectives and develop plans to address variations versus budgets. Utilize business tools and external data resources to efficiently manage the Trade Promotional Budget and achieve maximum volume returns. * Provide accurate General Trade demand forecasts and communicate variations to plan. * Participate in developing long-term demand forecasts. Strategic Business Planning * Develop channel/customer strategies and business plans to achieve the set target. * Build professional customer relationships among key distributors and customers. * Participate in the development of strategic sales plans aligned with global strategic objectives, ensuring the delivery of country/regional targets. Distribution Efficiency * Implement data analysis and other programs to optimize KC Reach/Coverage. * Achieve coverage, call/day, and effective call (productive call) targets. * Establish work plans and continuously monitor achievement. * Ensure efficient distribution to expand KC’s reach. Availability and Compliance * Provide inputs for the development and implementation of priority code lists by customer type. * Monitor compliance to ensure availability and alignment with strategic goals. Cost-Efficient GT Model * Develop and implement a “cost-efficient” General Trade Model. * Focus on streamlining processes and resource utilization while maintaining effectiveness. Optimal Customer Service * Participate in developing sales forecast processes and tools. * Provide accurate sales forecasts and align customer and KC Supply Chain process/activities where applicable. * Prioritize customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery. Trade Communication and Intelligence: * Participate in the development and review of the Trade Communication Plan. * Be the primary point of contact for assigned distributors/customers across all business communication issues. * Ensure effective communication to optimize business activities. * Additionally, stay informed about trade and competitive intelligence, providing recommendations as they apply to assigned distributors/customers. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: Essential Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, economics, or related discipline. * 7-10 years of work experience, including at least 5 years in General Trade within the FMCG industry and a minimum of 5 years in management. * Proficiency in all aspects of the retail environment and distributor operations. * Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated success in managing diverse accounts in a multinational company and positively influencing both KC and customer executives.
