Financial Controller (Remote) We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance leader to join our growing team in the United States real estate industry. The ideal candidate will have experience as an accountant in our industry, preferably in a senior role. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, this person will streamline our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes. The controller will also produce thorough financial status reports for senior managers to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape Recommend overall financial objectives, strategies, and policies of the firm that are consistent with approved purposes and objectives Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Generate and review financial statements for external parties Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field 10+ years of professional accounting experience with 5+ years of experience in finance leadership roles Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis Working knowledge of US tax regulations and compliance reporting Experience in managing payroll, with a focus on streamlining accounting processes Exemplary history of financial project management Above average Excel skills Attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to work in the US Eastern time zone If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for finance, experience in the hospitality industry, and the ability to work remotely, we encourage you to apply for this exciting remote opportunity.
