Job Title: Translator Position Type: Full-time/Permanent Location: Philippines – Onsite Salary: Open About the job: As a translator, your main responsibilities revolve around converting written content accurately between languages while preserving the original meaning and context. This involves translating documents, providing oral interpretation during meetings and conferences, and proofreading translated materials for errors. You'll need to adapt translations to fit the cultural context of the target audience, collaborate with project teams to meet specific requirements and deadlines and handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Additionally, you'll manage terminology, communicate with clients to understand their needs, and continuously improve your skills and knowledge of industry advancements. Job Responsibilities: Fluent in both Filipino and Chinese, responsible for translating project documents and materials accurately. Provide on-site interpretation during senior management receptions and business meetings. Assist with various daily administrative tasks. Job Requirements: A Bachelor's degree or higher is required, with proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking both Filipino and Chinese, as frequent collaboration with our China team will be necessary. Proficient in using office software; knowledge of financial technology or government relations in finance is a plus. Professional appearance and demeanor, with a friendly and cheerful personality. Knowledgeable about business reception and correspondence etiquette. Capable of handling different situations under pressure and managing emergencies effectively.
