Position Overview RecruitGo is in search of an Insolvency Practitioner and Support , who will be working with our client based in Australia. Our client is an Offshoring of Professional Services. As a Key Person in the practice, you'll support the practitioner in insolvency processes, fostering growth and trust. You'll need strong commercial, legal, and business acumen to handle complex cases, investigate thoroughly, and recommend sensible actions. Additionally, you'll manage practice duties, assist with software, and support both personal and corporate insolvency tasks, ensuring timely compliance with ASIC submissions. Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone with excellent written and oral English communication skills, be adept at managing various relationships, and discern the most effective communication method for different situations, whether via email, telephone, or meetings. Responsibilities: You will be a Key Person within the practice working closely with the practitioner and supporting them in the insolvency process. Develop rapport with the practitioner to assist in their practice development and growth it You will need to perform the role with a high level of commercial, legal, and business acumen to deal with complex situations. Investigate a case with an enquiring mind by not taking things at face value Dealing with the practitioner and having their confidence so that you can offer sensible courses of action Perform Practice Management duties and assist with practice management software duties. 3 Practice management – Assist with duties that are associated with running a professional practice in Australia Insolvency management – Assist with insolvency matters both for personal and corporate insolvency. This means performing work to estimate the estate to be distributed. It will mean assisting in understanding what needs to be submitted to ASIC and checking that all activities have been completed on a timely basis. Qualifications: Excellent English communication skills both written and oral Ability to manage a variety of relationships that the candidate will be confronted with Understand the most effective form of communication given the circumstances i.e., e-mail, telephone, or calling a meeting Strong accounting and legal background and experience Tertiary qualifications Accountancy qualifications are a prerequisite with a focus on insolvency advantage Legal qualifications are an advantage Qualified Accountant Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality professional advice Ability to produce documents that will go before the courts within Australia You will need to develop an understanding of the insolvency legislative and legal environment in Australia Some type of legal background Why RecruitGo?
