Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in the food and beverage retail industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing weekly accounts payable (AP), payroll, bookkeeping, and monthly financial reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Weekly Accounts Payable (AP): Oversee the processing of vendor invoices and ensure timely payments. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate AP records. Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to AP promptly. Payroll Management: Administer weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Handle payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies. Maintain payroll records and ensure all payroll-related taxes and deductions are accurately calculated and reported. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company. Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Reconcile accounts and ensure all financial data is accurate and complete. Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions. Ensure all financial reports comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and legislation. Assist with internal and external audits as required. Maintain a thorough understanding of current accounting principles and practices. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Provide financial forecasting and budgeting support. Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required. Proven experience as a CPA in the food and beverage retail industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
