Job Title: Accounting Officer Position Type: Full-time/Permanent Location: Taguig City, Philippines - Hybrid Salary Range: PHP 60K-90K per month Job ID#: 138533 About The Job: As an Accounting Officer, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, ensuring precise and prompt financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and working with various departments to uphold financial accuracy and integrity. Key Duties and Responsibilities Include: Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, within stipulated deadlines. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information for reporting purposes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports. Support regular monthly closing activities. Reconcile subsidiary ledgers and schedules against financial reports and propose necessary adjustments. Participate in system implementations, ensuring accurate capture of financial data, and performing user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed. Support external audit processes at the group and subsidiary levels by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and reporting requirements. Contribute to process improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial reporting procedures. Requirements: Must be a CPA with a degree in Accounting. At least 5 years of experience in end-to-end transaction processing to financial reporting. Team player who is eager to learn new things. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform self-checks. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of accounting systems. Experience working in a bank or auditing banks is required. Experience in an audit firm is preferred but not mandatory. Willingness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
