Job Title: Engineering Site Leader/Software Development Engineer Position Type: Full-time/Permanent Location: Makati, Philippines - Onsite Salary Range: PHP 250K-300K per month Job ID#: 138964 About The Job: We are looking for an experienced Engineering Site Leader to join our dynamic team in the Philippines and oversee engineering efforts across multiple projects and initiatives. In this position, you will establish the technical direction and architecture for new products and features, facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and other departments, and manage and mentor a diverse team of software engineers, data analysts, QA engineers, and more. As the Engineering Site Leader, you will drive engineering processes, standards, tools, and best practices, lead the planning and execution of project roadmaps and releases, and effectively communicate status, priorities, and plans throughout the organization. Responsibilities: Lead engineering teams on multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. Set technical direction and architectures for new products and features. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and other groups. Manage and mentor software engineers, data analysts, QA engineers, and other roles. Drive engineering processes, standards, tools, and best practices. Lead planning and execution of project roadmaps and releases. Communicate status, priorities, and plans across the organization. Own and report key company OKRs weekly to internal stakeholders. Balance business needs with engineering excellence as a strategic technical leader. Mentor and develop strong teams as an empathetic people manager. Connect with both business and technical colleagues as a great communicator. Be a hands-on technologist comfortable with coding and reviewing technical designs. Build trust and relationships company-wide as a collaborative partner. Requirements: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years of management experience. Experience leading projects and people successfully through rapid growth periods. Deep hands-on experience with core languages and technologies. Proven track record of recruiting and retaining talented engineers. Experience driving high product quality, test automation, and DevOps. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, as candidate will be collaborating with China team. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience operating effectively under ambiguity.
