DIRECTLY REPORTS TO: Head of Legal MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: The Legal Assistant will work closely with the Legal Department to provide specialized HR and compliance services to aid businesses in the Philippines. The Legal Assistant will primarily provide and assist with HR and legal consultancy services. The incumbent will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for clients' HR and compliance needs, including employee handbooks and code of conduct creation, drafting, formulating, and revising contracts of employment, compliance housekeeping, immigration services, compliance training, company setup/incorporation, and other special projects. TASKS: Assist in managing the HR Compliance branch of Sprout’s Professional Services Conceive and manage initiatives to onboard clients Coordinate with government agencies and Legal Counsel for legal/litigation/compliance matters Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, legal articles and other matters assigned by the Legal Counsel Organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems Prepares the inventory of contracts and agreements of the Company Provide HR and other consultancy services to clients Draft, formulate, assist, and revise research papers and other documents for clients Ensure compliance with laws and regulations Manage immigration services for foreign employees Provide compliance training for clients' HR and legal staff Assist with company setup/incorporation for new businesses Participate in special projects as required Perform other duties as assigned by the company QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Legal Management and/or any related course At least 1-2 years of experience as an HR or Legal Assistant With background or knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent organizational skills, including experience with paper and electronic filing systems, task management, and record-keeping.
