This is a remote work position!Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team Lead to join our growing sales organization. As the SDR Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Development Representatives who are tasked with generating new business opportunities and qualifying leads through strategic outreach and engagement. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of Sales Development Representatives. Set clear objectives and performance expectations for the team and individuals, and actively monitor and manage performance against targets. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews to support the professional development of team members. Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the sales leadership team to develop and refine sales strategies, tactics, and processes to drive pipeline growth and revenue generation. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and optimize sales approaches. Develop and implement effective outbound prospecting campaigns and initiatives to target key market segments and verticals. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize the sales development process to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices for lead generation, qualification, and handover to the sales team. Utilize sales enablement tools and technology to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, including sales,customer success, marketing, and product, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution. Partner with marketing to develop compelling messaging, content, and campaigns to support lead generation efforts. Work closely with sales leadership to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities to the sales team, maintaining clear communication and documentation. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, including lead conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and revenue attribution. Use data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and make recommendations for optimization. Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior management, providing visibility into the SDR team's impact on business outcomes. Requirements Proven track record as a SDR Team leader or above in a relevant job description. Experience running virtual teams is a bonus. Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, particularly in a consultative sales environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
