About the Role As a Accounting Assistant, you’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for executing various finance operations-related tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, BIR 2307 document printing, and scanning proofs of payment. You'll work closely with the rest of Finance and Accounting to support the day-to-day operations and contribute to our mission of providing affordable healthcare. Responsibilities Financial Transactions and Recordkeeping: Process invoices, payments, and expenses, ensuring accurate data entry Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and maintain proper financial records General Ledger and Reconciliation Assist with maintaining the general ledger and posting journal entries Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and manage fixed assets Financial Reporting and Compliance Support in preparing monthly and annual financial reports Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and assist with tax return submissions (VAT, withholding taxes, and income tax) Expense Monitoring Verify and allocate expense claims and assist with budget management Process Improvement and Collaboration Recommend process improvements and assist with system updates Coordinate with HR on payroll and government compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) Qualifications Must be willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance At least 1 year of experience in Accounting Proficient in accounting software, BIR compliance, and local tax laws High accuracy in financial data and reporting Strong communication and collaboration skills Benefits & Perks of Joining Us Health benefits and sick leaves Company laptop 13th month pay Career development and mentorship Access to global tech and advisory support from Harvard, Stanford, and more Powered by JazzHR
