Job Description: An International Freight Forwarding Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling freight forwarding services to potential clients, managing existing client relationships, and achieving revenue & gross profit targets. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across international borders. Key Responsibilities: Identify and target potential clients in need of international freight forwarding services. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate pricing and service agreements to secure new business. Continuously research and stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns. Address client needs and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction. Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth and timely cargo shipments. Monitor shipments and provide clients with real-time updates. Resolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise during transportation. Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and client records. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, international trade, or a related field is preferred. However, relevant work experience can sometimes substitute for formal education. Has on hand existing Resource Sale will be priority Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Familiarity with international shipping and logistics processes is highly advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building client relationships and making effective sales presentations. 3 years solid understanding of international freight forwarding, customs regulations, and shipping procedures. Ability to negotiate pricing and service agreements with clients and suppliers. Adept at identifying and resolving logistical issues quickly and efficiently. Proficiency in using relevant software tools for sales tracking, reporting, and communication. Strong sales and persuasion skills to meet revenue targets and drive business growth. Effective time management and organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts and tasks simultaneously.
