Job Title: Logistics Customer Service Representative Job Summary: The Logistics Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing and addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and issues related to logistics and transportation services. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to meet customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Engage with customers via email and reply with quotes for their shipments, follow up on current shipments until delivered, must respond to a customer within 15 minutes of an email no matter what. Customer Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels. Provide information on shipment status, delivery schedules, and any other logistics-related queries. Order Processing: Process customer orders and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Track and monitor order shipments to provide real-time updates to customers. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints, issues, or discrepancies related to shipments, damages, or delays. Collaborate with internal teams, such as warehouse and transportation, to address and resolve customer concerns. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries. Ensure proper documentation of shipping and delivery processes. Coordination with Internal Teams: Collaborate with the logistics, warehouse, and transportation teams to streamline processes and improve overall customer satisfaction. Communicate customer feedback to internal teams for continuous process improvement. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all customer interactions. Customer Education: Educate customers on logistics processes, shipping options, and any relevant information to enhance their understanding of the services provided. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in logistics or supply chain management. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Well-versed in Microsoft Excel and shipping software. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Familiarity with logistics software and systems.
