About our client Our client is an Australian full-service digital product consultancy, designing and building apps for the next era of users.They partner with some of the leading start-ups, scale-ups and enterprises in Australia, designing, developing and launching custom web and mobile applications that are scalable and ready for growth. They are passionate about software engineering, product design, quality execution and keen to find enthusiastic and talented engineers looking to work with like-minded people.When it comes to their cloud solutions - they're all about automation, scale and reliability - and you'll be instrumental in helping them bring that to life through ensuring the software they create meets the principles of their DevOps led approach to software design, delivery and operation. About the role You will have strong commercial experience developing with PHP and Laravel framework, and have a solid understanding and experience with front-end technologies and best practices considering responsiveness, performance, monitoring and usability. You are passionate about software engineering and are eager to learn new concepts, tools and methods quickly and efficiently. Role requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in PHP, Javascript, HTML and CSS. Minimum 2+ years experience in Laravel framework, Vuejs, Bootstrap, Git, and Docker is essential. Experience integrating with Amadeus GDS or equivalent, highly desirable. Experience in PHP Unit testing and TDD Experience Mobile responsive development experience (including flex, grid and bootstrap) Experience with AWS cloud services and deployment, preferred (Elastic Beanstalk, S3, Glue, Athena, Quicksight) Experience working in Scrum/Kanban teams (or willingness to learn agile methodologies in practice) Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills Strong commitment and desire to learn and develop new skills and technologies Highly motivated with agility to work in an evolving, fast-paced, rapidly changing business Powered by JazzHR
