ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Test Automation Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce Test Automation Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development and extensive experience in designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts. RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, you'll get to...Automated Testing Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Apex Test Framework, and others Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline Test Strategy and Planning: Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans Develop and implement effective test strategies for Salesforce applications, considering both functional and non-functional requirements Test Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test scripts to verify the functionality, performance, and security of Salesforce applications Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues promptly Create detailed test reports and documentation for management and project stakeholders Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams, to ensure a holistic approach to application testing Participate in agile ceremonies and provide input on the testing aspects of user stories Test integrations and collaborate with other IT teams and platforms such as Oracle, AgilePLM, and third-party plugins Communicate clearly and effectively with IT and various business users across multiple departments Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce updates, features, and best practices in test automation Propose and implement improvements to the testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness QA and Deployment Processes: Involvement in QA, code testing, functional testing, UAT, deployment processes, and sign-off Ensure documentation of all testing and deployment activities Salesforce Administration and Platform Testing: Conduct testing across various Salesforce platforms including Service Cloud, OMS, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Undertake some SFDC admin tasks as requested Data Management and Projects: Involvement in data backup and recovery processes Play a pivotal QA role in special projects and integrations perform other adhoc tasks related to the role REQUIREMENTS: On day one, we'll expect you to ... have 5 years minimum experience as a Salesforce Developer with a focus on QA and test automation have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field possess expertise in Commerce Cloud and Web Test Automation be proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce configuration and SQL have solid experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Apex Test Framework, and others be knowledgable in CI/CD processes and tools, such as Jenkins or Salesforce DX possess excellent problem-solving and debugging skills have strong collaboration skills have excellent verbal and written English communication skills have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties be willing to install and use a time keeping software while performing the work for the team be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer have a stable internet connection to perform the assigned work duties be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there be able to work up to 40 hours per week between 9am to 6pm US Pacific business hours (1am-10am Philippine time) be willing to undergo a 90-days probationary period upon initial hire These are good to have ...
