ABOUT THE JOB: Open to Philippine residents ONLY! One of our US-based clients is looking to hire a Home Health Scheduler to manage, maintain and update schedules of US-based medical/healthcare providers going around to each patient's home. RESPONSIBILITIES: Job duties may be modified based on experience and fit within the company. Maintain, update, and coordinate the scheduling of field clinicians including therapists (occupational OT, COTA, speech ST, and physical PT, PTA) nurses (registered nurse RN, licensed vocational nurse LVN) aides, medical social workers MSW, and staff. Complete insurance authorizations as needed Responsible for answering the telephone and receiving messages in a pleasant and professional manner Perform daily office activities as needed Receives and submits faxed information and e-mail Ensure confidentiality of all protected health information Ensure faxed information is submitted to the appropriate person Assist in the production and completion of requested documents including plans of care and other documents as requested Ensures all documents produced are grammatically correct and spelled correctly Ensures relevant office equipment is working and maintained Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment and techniques. Provides information by answering questions and requests Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects; expediting work results Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Resolves administrative problems by coordinating the preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions. MUST HAVES: At least 1 year of home health care administrative experience is REQUIRED . Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner Display a positive attitude and perseverance when challenged Must demonstrate/show high commitment to be a part of the team HIPAA Compliance Tech-Savvy - willing to learn new platforms Demonstrate strong English communication skills both written and verbal Demonstrate collaboration and effective team-playing skills Knowledge and experience in US Healthcare Must have own equipment/tools PC/Laptop - minimum of i3 / Ryzen 3 processor and at least 8GB RAM Main Internet Service Provider - must be a wired connection with at least 25mbps internet speed Backup Internet Service Provider - can either be a wired connection or a wireless connection (modem broadband or pocket wifi) with at least 10mbps for both upload and download speed BENEFITS: ✨ FREE HMO for the VA and 1 qualified dependent✨ Permanent and Full-time WFH✨ PTOs ✨ Client initiative IncentivesPowered by JazzHR
