Responsibilities: Feature Development Identify and plan for new features in mobile applications. Advise and implement new mobile products, applications, and protocols. Develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality. Use and customize existing web apps for mobile applications. Application Lifecycle Management Support the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, test, release, and support. Produce fully functional mobile applications by writing clean and efficient code. Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions to meet user and business needs. Liaise with the product development team to plan new features and ensure cohesive integration. Coding and Testing Stay up to date with terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding mobile apps. Write unit and UI tests to identify and fix malfunctions. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Design interfaces to improve user experience and ensure intuitive navigation. User Interaction and Feedback Communicate with users to understand their needs and experiences. Incorporate user feedback into application updates and new features. Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards. Maintain and enhance existing mobile applications based on user feedback and performance metrics. Pitches and Presentations Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing technical insights and support. Assist in preparing presentation materials and effectively communicating technical ideas to internal teams and clients. Present and justify development decisions and approaches to stakeholders and clients. Support the creation of technical documentation for client presentations. Industry Knowledge Stay updated on market developments and opportunities in mobile app development, digital technology, and software engineering. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices related to mobile app development. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in mobile app development and related tools. Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Ensure timely delivery of mobile development projects. Maintain high code quality and adherence to best practices. Achieve high client and user satisfaction rates. Reduce the number of post-deployment bugs and issues. Improve app performance and user engagement metrics. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Mobile Developer. Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or Android Market. Extensive knowledge of at least one programming language such as Swift or Java. Familiarity with OOP design principles. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude. Ability to perform effectively in a team environment. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to interpret and follow technical plans. BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
