Responsibilities: Footage Management and Editing Cull raw footage to identify usable segments and prepare an initial timeline. Organize and manage production files, ensuring efficient retrieval and backup processes. Maintain organized project files, adhering to company protocols for storage and version control. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to video editing and production. Creative Development and Execution Recommend and implement creative approaches to music, effects, and transitions to enhance video projects. Edit videos to align with the creative vision, brand guidelines, and project objectives. Create and integrate static and moving art (motion graphics) to enrich video content. Collaborate with the creative team to develop storyboards and visual concepts for video content. Apply color correction, audio enhancement, and motion graphics to elevate the overall quality of the videos. Client Interaction and Feedback Present initial drafts and revisions to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback as needed. Work closely with clients to understand their vision and deliver video content that meets or exceeds their expectations. Manage multiple rounds of edits and revisions efficiently to meet project deadlines. Provide professional expertise and recommendations during client meetings and project briefings. Technical Proficiency and Software Management Stay updated with the latest video editing software and technologies. Ensure all video content is optimized for various platforms and devices. Implement best practices for video compression, encoding, and exporting for different formats. Conduct quality control checks on final outputs to maintain high standards. Pitches and Presentations: Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing support and insights as a video editor. Assist in preparing presentation materials and communicating ideas effectively to internal teams and clients. Industry Knowledge Be knowledgeable about market developments and opportunities in the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to creative operations and project management. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in operational processes and tools. Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Timeliness of project delivery. Client satisfaction and feedback. Quality and creativity of video content. Efficiency in managing and organizing production files. Successful implementation of client and internal feedback. Requirements: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects. Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for online video.
