Job Summary: As a System Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional support to our clients. Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct system reviews and audit video clips to ensure the accuracy of the Ensight systems, whether for new implementations or client sites under support.Take detailed notes on audit results, maintaining records on a per-camera basis.Collaborate with support and implementation leads to report site status and audit findings, facilitating the creation of action plans aimed at enhancing overall system performance to meet our guaranteed client accuracy standards.Maintain existing on-site software systems, primarily developed as Windows services in C#.Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of issues as assigned by the department lead.Oversee the maintenance and monitoring of on-site hardware and software, including servers, cameras, and networks. Required Skills: Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience working on production-grade software that has been deployed.Demonstrate extensive experience in monitoring and troubleshooting existing systems using log files and other diagnostic tools.Exhibit broad expertise in maintaining and deploying software on Windows operating systems, as well as installing hardware on-site, including servers, cameras, and networking equipment.Comfortably handle back-end systems, including reading logs and monitoring server performance.Possess proficient oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the support and implementation team, other systems engineers, and clients. Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Linux operating systems.Knowledge of Azure and AWS platforms.Comfort with managing relational databases.Powered by JazzHR
